Jess Durfee, County Democratic Party Chair, will report to the San Diego Democratic Club on all the speeches, resolutions and strategies developed at the California State Democratic Convention, which concluded earlier this month as well as plans to act as host to next year’s Presidential-year convention here in San Diego

The San Diego Democratic Club is extremely proud of its leading role in creating the LGBT 3^rd District.  We are also proud of SDDC members who have represented the District – Chris Kehoe, Toni Atkins and Todd Gloria – as well as the SDDC members who have worked on the current Task Force or testified before the Redistricting Commission.

“when we go to MLK events, people frequently forget that Dr. King was also a labor leader assassinated in Memphis while seeking economic justice for striking sanitation workers - and they sometimes forget that Cesar Chavez was first and foremost a labor leader advocating for all farm workers.  But no one questions why Labor attends Harvey Milk events.”
