NSD Statement on Babs Siperstein's Election to the DNC Executive Committee

"Her election says as much about the commitment of Democrats to full LGBT inclusion as it does about Bab's commitment to be a force for change within the party and the LGBT community both.

"Siperstein was the first transgender person appointed to the Democratic National Committee. She has served on both the NSD and NSDPAC Boards of Directors, as well as being a tireless activist in her home state of New Jersey for which she was honored recently being named the inaugural John Adler 'Icon for Equality' by Garden State Equality.
