Steel-City Stonewall Democrats Endorsement Gathering For the 2010 Primary.

On Sunday, March 28th Steel-City Stonewall Democrats will convene its membership to vote on which candidates will receive the organization’s endorsement for the May 18th, 2010 Primary Election.  The meeting will take place from 2:30 until 5:00 PM at Hyde Park restaurant on the North Shore of Pittsburgh. 

This year there are many important races.  

Currently, Joe Hoeffel, Dan Onorato, & Jack Wagner are running against each other for the Democratic Nomination for Governor and the winner will face Tom Corbett in the General Election.

Joe Sestak is running against Arlen Specter for the Democratic Nomination for United States Senate & the winner in that race will face Pat Tommey in the General Election.

There will also be many important races for the State House and State Senate.

Location: Hyde Park restaurant, 247 North Shore Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15212-- (ground floor of Del Monte Building)
Parking:  Free parking at street meters; valet parking $5
Cost:  Free for members, $5 charge for non-members.    
 

Schedule

2:30-3:30 meet and greet; 
3:30-4:40 Candidates will deliver speak and take audience questions
4:40-4:45 Steel-City Stonewall Democrats Board Elections
4:45-5:00 Members will cast ballots 

We will have complimentary hor d'oeuvres and a cash bar.

Individual Membership is $35.00

Family Membership for two individuals is $50.00

Low Income/Student Membership is $15.00

MEMBERSHIP IN STEEL-CITY STONEWALL DEMOCRATS INCLUDES MEMBERSHIP IN NATIONAL STONEWALL DEMOCRATS AND $10.00 OF YOUR DUES GOES DIRECTLY TO NATIONAL STONEWALL DEMOCRATS AND THEIR EFFORTS AT THE NATIONAL LEVEL.
