What are you most thankful for this holiday season?
Among our many blessings are the pro-equality Democrats in the House and Senate who have taken bold, proactive stances on issues of LGBT equality. (And that the "turkeys" in Congress are in the minority.)
Let's be honest. Not everyone has been bold. Or acted for equality. Not even all Democrats. There has been much frustration about the pace of progress over the past few months -- and that's a frustration we share here at Stonewall Democrats. But we must never forget to support those who are fighting on our side.
These Democrats have taken the lead on pushing for equality for
families and workers, for children in schools, and for government
employees in the military and in the federal government. These
Democrats work hard for us, and they deserve our appreciation and
continued support.
