At Least Break his Knees, Lord!

Pat Robertson agrees with the terrorists in Iraq: the best way to runaround your democratically-elected opposition is to wipe them out. On his 700 Club broadcast this week, Robertson urged the United States government to assasinate Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez for getting to friendly with Cuban dictator Fidel Castro. Oh, and Venezuela has the largest oil supply out outside the Middle East, Robertson arguees, if that sweetens the deal.

Robertson is no stranger to violent solutions. He once prayed that a hurricane change its track to miss his house and directly hit Fire Island to take out the gay population there. Meanwhile, it was reported today that social conservatives, like Robertson, are developing new strategies to train politicians to ignore their constiuents and obey their directions.
