Gay Water Skiing Squirrels...for Now

Yesterday, LOGO debuted its "CBS News on LOGO" segment with former CNN and MTV News correspondent Jason Billini. The 3-minute format is a style hybrid of CBS News, MTV News and a local affiliate format (the ending being a kicker about lesbian swans, as Malcontent points out) - similar to New York 1, or other local 24-hour cable news services.

The production value overall isn't great, but its stellar for a start-up network. Broadcasts are never outstanding their first time out of the gate (hell, FoxNews has been around 7 years or so, and they still haven't gotten it). Let CBS and MTV throw a little money and production teams their way, and given a year, the program could prove to be a hard-hitting, more timely alternative to weekly publications.
