Savage Revenge

Dan Savage - the gay Dr. Ruth to straight America - is guestblogging this week over at andrewsullivan.com. There is reader tizzy over the strong emphasis on gay subjects he has employed, and Dan responds...by posting even more about gay subjects.

Meanwhile, we couldn't help notice how gay the story about the Army's discharge of General Byrnes is. He was discharged right before retirement for "sexual misconduct." His lawyer says it involves a private affair between the General and a private civilian. The vagueness of it all lends itself to appear that it involves adultery, sexual assault or...being gay. Its only a matter of time before the talking heads start to lump those three things together.
