Terrorist Says "Don't Ask" Unnecessary
Confessed al-Qaida conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui made oral arguments before a federal judge on Tuesday, declaring the military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy unnecessary. Okay, it wasn't exactly a pro-gay case. However, a day after a study revealed that the military's ban on openly-gay personnel has cost taxpayers $364 million, Moussasoui declared all Americans - civilian and military alike - gay soldiers.
``Each time you say, `Mr. Moussaoui keep quiet,' today is my day,'' Moussaoui said in a rambling speech during which he also sought to disavow his French citizenship. ``I'm not French ... I stand here as a Muslim only,'' Moussaoui said. ``I do not stand here with a nation of homosexual crusaders.''
Forget about Dick Cheney and a shotgun. God help the nation that has to face an armed Karl Lagerfeld.
